Order

How to place an order?

You can place an order online at www.seoul-optics.com by adding your desired items to your cart and then proceeding to checkout. Fill in the shipping details and move to the next page to see the delivery options. On the same page, there is an option to add a discount code if you have one. Then, proceed to payment. Upon completion of payment, you will receive an order confirmation email which you can use to check the status of your order at any given time!

What do I need to order?

For prescription items, make sure you have a prescription specific to your selected item, including PD (Pupillary Distance). If it doesn't include PD, please send it to service@seoul-optics.com.

How can I check my order status?

After completing the payment, you will receive an order confirmation email to check the order status at any time!

What if I need to change or cancel my order?

While we process orders swiftly, we'll try our best to accommodate changes. If your order hasn't shipped, contact us via email. For shipped orders, check "How do I set up a return or exchange?" below.

How do I set up a return or exchange?

We are committed to providing our customers with comfortable lenses and durable glasses at a reasonable price that will last for over 2 years. We understand that despite our efforts, there may still be some dissatisfaction with the fit or other aspects from the customer's perspective. We also recognize that there may be concerns about returns and exchanges due to the nature of international shipping, which can be inconvenient.

Therefore, we are implementing the following policy effective August 13, 2024:

1. Product Defects:
If there is a problem with the product, such as defects, please take a picture of the product and send it to us via Chat or service@seoul-optics.com. If the defect is verified, a 100% refund will be processed through PayPal.
A product defect includes issues such as incorrect lens prescriptions or frame distortions. A difference from what you expected does not qualify as a product defect.

2. Returns and Exchanges for Change of Mind:
In case of a change of mind, customers can choose one of the following two solutions:

1) 100% Refund via Gift Card:
No need to return the product.
Gift cards will be issued separately for the frame and lens prices.
Items purchased with gift cards cannot be returned or exchanged.

2) 50% Refund via PayPal:
No need to return the product.
Refund will be processed within 7 days.
If you want to request a refund or exchange, please contact us within 14 days of the delivery date.

When can I expect my order?

Your order will be shipped within the next 24 working hours. For lens orders, please allow consider an additional 1-5 days!

Do you ship worldwide?

As of now, we currently operate exclusively in the United States, Canada, and Australia.

Frames/Lens

Which glasses fit my face and which ones to choose?

Do the lenses have any other coatings?

The prescription and reading lenses come with three coatings: hard coat (scratch-resistant treatment), anti-reflective coat, and superhydrophobic coat. For prescription lenses, we exclusively use aspheric lenses, UV, and blue light blocking as standard to enhance the clarity of the lens edges.

How do Seoul Optics lenses work?

To determine the extent of blue light blocking in our lenses, we had them tested by the Korea Accreditation Service (KOLAS), which is part of the Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC).
The results are as follows!

For Index 1.6 and 1.67: 99% in the 380-410nm spectrum
For Index 1.74: 99% in the 380-405nm spectrum

Are your prices listed in international currencies?

Our prices are listed in USD.

Do you accept insurance?

We don't accept insurance directly. However, some insurance companies may reimburse you based on an invoice copy. If your insurer allows this, you can request an emailed invoice copy by contacting service@seoul-optics.com.

Do I have to pay duty and import charges?

Seoul Optics ships all products based on DAP (Delivered At Place) terms. The product price does not include tax and duties vary by terms and tax policies for each country.
When your order is ready for delivery, the local courier will inform you of the tax and duty. In such cases, the customer will be responsible for any duties imposed by local customs.
