Blue light lenses typically come in shades of yellow or blue, with occasional appearances of green. The intensity of yellow hue can be strong, making it appear orange or amber. In this way, the color options for blue light lenses is quite diverse.
But are lenses with a distinct color really okay?
Even if they effectively block blue light, might they be a bit distracting for everyday wear?
Is clear color ineffective? No
I used to wear green blue light blocking glasses. The green lenses made my eyes look dull, prompting me to purchase an eye cream to prevent bags under my eyes. I felt dissatisfied every time I looked in the mirror.

To determine the effectiveness of our blue light blocking lenses, we commissioned testing by the Korea Accreditation Service (KOLAS), which is part of the Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC).
The results are as follows!
- For Index 1.6 and 1.67: 99% in the 380-410nm spectrum
- For Index 1.74: 99% in the 380-405nm spectrum
